Our Community

We are committed to giving back to the communities and causes where we live, work and play. We aim to reach the lives of 10m people by the end of 2030.

We have thousands of talented, committed, energetic colleagues across our world-class brands in more than 87 offices around the world. That adds up to a significant opportunity to help.

Working with communities

Do More is how we reach out to the people around us and give back to the communities that sustain us. Our brands are close to their customers, so they are well placed to understand local needs: from action on prostate cancer in the UK, to skin cancer prevention in Australia; from improving financial literacy in the US, to supporting young entrepreneurs in Morocco.

Helping communities: our areas of expertise

We listen to our communities, learn about their needs and then identify the best way we can help them. At Flutter, we have some special areas of strength that we can use to have an outsized impact. We focus on these strengths to make the most of the innovation, dedication, and creativity of our colleagues.

Sport & Play

The magic of sport is a central part of our business, so we understand its power to unite, inspire, and uplift. We use this power to benefit our communities, with projects designed to promote positive social change.

Tech4Good

We entertain our customers using advanced technology, so we also use technology to transform lives. We help create connections, address social issues and develop new skills.

Health & Wellbeing

People make our brands and our brands make our business, so the health and wellbeing of our colleagues is essential. We extend this culture of care to the communities around us.

Operation HOPE

We know being comfortable with numbers is important to sustainable play

So FanDuel is working on financial literacy in the US alongside Operation HOPE – supporting the non-profit organization with $2.5m since 2023. Its coaches offer free virtual and in-person financial health sessions, with a focus on strategies to build savings, improve credit scores, and decrease debt. The partnership with FanDuel has helped Operation HOPE expand its programs in Massachusetts, Kentucky, and Vermont.

The BIG 180

We know a lot of men love darts

We know many men love darts, offering a unique opportunity to spread understanding about an under-acknowledged disease that affects them. In 2023, Paddy Power joined forces with Prostate Cancer UK to launch the “BIG 180 campaign” during the World Darts Championship, which welcomes around 90,000 fans annually. With Paddy Power pledging £1,000 for every maximum score of 180 and leveraging its brand to raise awareness among men, the campaign has raised over £2m for Prostate Cancer UK and encouraged more than 300,000 men to use the charity’s online risk checker.

IMAS

Sport holds a special place in our hearts

Here at Flutter we want to bring joy to everyone – so we teamed up with International Mixed Ability Sports. IMAS encourages people facing obstacles to participation – including people with physical and learning disabilities – to take part in community sports as equals alongside non-disabled participants, without being separated or labelled. Flutter has a three-year partnership with IMAS worth around £500,000 to help increase its impact around the world.

OnHand

With thousands of colleagues on hand at Flutter, we saw an opportunity to lend a hand through OnHand

The OnHand app quickly connects colleagues with projects in their areas, making it super-easy for our colleagues to give their time to local communities. In 2024, OnHand helped more than 2,200 colleagues volunteer – and, often, entire teams volunteered to help out together.
