Thousands of athletes will compete at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games

What often goes unseen is the infrastructure required to make participation in such an impactful event possible. Aligned with Flutter Entertainment's mission to encourage greater participation in sport, FanDuel is helping to deliver that infrastructure.

As an official sponsor of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in June, FanDuel is supporting Sports Recovery Stations and Healthy Athletes Fun Fitness areas, providing athletes with physical rehabilitation support and free, anxiety-free health screenings, including vision, dental, and hearing care.

These services remove barriers that too often sit outside the spotlight but directly determine whether athletes can fully participate. The goal is simple: allow competitors to focus on the joy of sport, not the logistics of access.

This work reflects Flutter’s Do More strategy in action, translating purpose into practical impact across the communities where we operate. It also extends FanDuel’s long-standing relationship with Special Olympics programs across North America, from the Lights and Sirens Race for Hope in North Carolina to Polar Plunge fundraising events in Illinois, Maryland, and Minnesota, as well as FanDuel Canada’s involvement in the LIMITLESS Gala.

For some leaders, the mission is deeply personal.

Dale Hooper

General Manager of FanDuel Canada

Dale Hooper, General Manager of FanDuel Canada, has seen the power of inclusive sport firsthand. His daughter Emma has been a Special Olympics athlete since the age of six.

What moves Hooper most isn't just Emma's athletic achievements - which includes competing in the 2024 Ontario provincials - but watching his once-shy daughter blossom with confidence and strength. "The magic happens", he says, "because Emma draws courage from her fellow athletes. If everyone else is trying something new, she'll try it too."

Stories like Emma’s help explain why partnerships like this matter beyond sponsorship. Inclusive sport does not just support athletes. It strengthens families, builds confidence, and reinforces the idea that access should never be a limiting factor in participation.

Alongside initiatives such as Flutter’s support for the International Mixed Ability Sports (IMAS), this partnership highlights how investment in accessibility can create environments where participation, wellbeing, and community pride intersect.

Because when sport is truly accessible, it becomes what it is meant to be: a game for everyone.
